Instructions for taking Online Re-Admission 2024-25

Dear Faculty Members, Students and Parents,

          Congratulations to all of you for successfully completing the academic year 2023-24 and I join each one of you in thanking God for the new Academic Year that we are about to enter in. Please follow the guidelines given below for online Re-Admission to Academic Year 2024-25.

1. RGU Result of 2nd Semester and Re-admission for 3rd Semester

  • RGU has declared the result of NEP 2nd Semester on the night of 29th July 2024
  • Present NEP 2nd Semester students are requested to wait for re-admission to 3rd Semester. We shall inform you when we get the RGU Mark sheet. 3rd Sem will get extra days for re-admission.
  • 2. Collection of RGU Marksheets & Payment of Security Deposit

    • RGU Marksheets will be available in the College Office from 30th July 2023 for 4th & 6th Semester students.
    • Those students with less than 75% attendance for 2nd & 4th Semester will pay the Security Deposit of Rs. 3,000/- and collect the Marksheet from the college office. Marksheets will have to be uploaded in the Online Re-Admission Form 2023-24.

    3. Online Re-Admission for 3rd & 5th Semester (3rd Semesters are requested to wait)

    • To fill the Re-Admission Form Online, visit https://dbcitanagar.ac.in/ and click on “Re-Admission 2024 25” button. NO OFFLINE FACILITY AVAILABLE.
    • RGU has added several fields to the admission form and hence it is lengthy. Have patience to fill the form carefully.
    • Click on Register and fill your details. Make sure to use your correct mobile number and email ID. This will be used for all future correspondence. Do not use the mobile number and email ID of your parents, uncles, siblings or Cyber-shop keepers.
    • After completing registration, the candidate will receive the Username and Password through SMS and email to login to complete the admission form. Please choose the option for “Readmission”
    • There are four steps to complete your admission form: 1. Personal Details, 2. Education Details, 3. Certificates and 4. Payment.
    • Keep ready the following documents for uploading: ABC ID, Aadhar Card, RGU Registration Card, marksheets of previous semesters.
    • After making the payment, the Admission Form can be verified, and click on “Print” option and save the Admission Form as PDF. Candidate can use the Username and Password received while registering, to download the PDF copy of the Admission Form anytime.
    • In Case the candidate is not able to open the “print” page, go to the “View site information” on the left side of the search bar, click on “Site Settings” and “Allow” Pop-ups and redirects
    • You can make the payment of 1st Installment either Online or Offline in the DBC Cash Counter. After completing the Admission Form fill up of first three stages, that is, 1. Personal Details, 2. Education Details and 3. Certificates, the student can approach the DBC Cash Counter for making the payment offline. Office Staff will update your payment records in the admission form and the student can now download the PDF copy of the admission form by following the steps narrated above.
    • We have introduced QR Code and UPI number to make cashless payments in DBC. This facility is available only for paying the Installments and NOT for paying the Security Deposit.
    • Fee Receipt is attached with the printout of the re-admission form and hence, separate fee receipt will not be issued by the college. Besides, students can download the fee receipt from student login of the Linways after the college starts when the Linways ERP programme will be fully activated.
    • Submit a printout of the Re-Admission Form, Marksheets of all the previous Semesters and a copy of the receipt of the 1st Installment paid, to DBC Cash Counter to complete the Re-Admission process.
    • With this the applicant has successfully taken Re-Admission at Don Bosco College Itanagar for 3rd & 5th Semester 2024-25.
    • Kindly save and keep the Re-Admission Form & Fee Receipt for any future reference.
